DAVID GROSS Owner

Spanning more than 30 years and encompassing over 100 projects, David’s career is a testament to his extensive expertise in both residential and commercial construction. His work has established him as one of the most sought-after general contractors in the Gunnison Valley. In his first decade in construction, David developed and built over 150 affordable housing units in Philadelphia and completed multiple high-end residential projects in the city's prestigious Main Line area.

In his thirties, David moved to Crested Butte and worked as a lead project manager for renowned builder Fran Guy, formerly of Holbrook and Guy General Contractors. He went on to build ultra-custom modern homes in Dallas, Texas, with acclaimed architects from Wernerfield Architecture, Design while maintaining his connections with the Crested Butte building community. Upon returning full-time to Crested Butte in 2011, he secured the Secret Stash restoration project and then the first development phase of the Club at Crested Butte’s “Slopeside” project, among countless other projects in and around Crested Butte.

David's commitment to the community is evident in his active involvement with the Gunnison Valley Special Needs Network (GVSNN), where he serves as co-founder and vice president. He graduated with a BA in Psychology from Michigan State University, where he was a four-year starter on their Division 1 lacrosse team. A lifelong athlete, David is a six-time Ironman triathlete and a 12-time Grand Traverse participant. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, and, both Randonnée endurance and downhill skiing in the Rocky Mountains. 


JASON STUBBE Supervising Manager

Jason joined the DGGC team in 2016, bringing decades of construction industry experience. Originally from Alaska, he moved to the Gunnison Valley to attend Western Colorado University. After graduating, Jason began working in construction while considering a career in teaching middle school history. As the valley expanded, so did the opportunities in the building industry, allowing Jason to grow his skill set and solidify his place in the construction community.

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending quality moments with his teenage son. Together, they love skiing, biking, fishing, and making the most of the summer season.


Joe Robinson Project Manager

Joe is a seasoned hospitality professional with deep experience in luxury clubs, resorts, and residential communities. He’s known for leading operations, elevating member experiences, and building strong, service-driven teams.

Most recently, Joe served as Club Director at Whitetail Club in McCall, Idaho, where he enhanced operations and strengthened member engagement. He later expanded his expertise in residential development with Builders FirstSource, gaining valuable insight into construction and design.

Before his time in Idaho, Joe built a strong foundation in hospitality management in Crested Butte. His return marks a homecoming, bringing his broadened skills back to a community he loves.

Passionate about creating spaces where people feel welcome and connected, Joe is dedicated to delivering seamless experiences for homeowners and members alike. Outside of work, he enjoys family time and the outdoors—skiing, rafting, and exploring the backcountry with his wife, Beth, and their two daughters.


KINSEY VINSON Office Manager

Kinsey joined the DGGC team in February 2025 and quickly became known as a true “Jill of all trades.” Her career journey has taken her through accounting, graphic design, marketing, and a wide range of administrative roles, giving her a dynamic skill set and the ability to jump in wherever she’s needed. With a sharp eye for detail and a creative edge, she thrives on being a versatile contributor and finding ways to add value across the company.

Originally from Indiana and raised in Oklahoma, Kinsey made the move to Colorado in 2013—first to Denver, and then to Crested Butte in 2018 to fully embrace mountain living. When she’s not keeping projects moving forward at DGGC, you can find her out exploring the trails with her pups, snowboarding, or getting hands-on with her latest arts and crafts project.


Michele Sanchez Accounting Manager

Born and raised in New Mexico, Michele’s journey has taken her through four states before she settled in Colorado where she’s been a proud resident for several years. She joined DGGC in 2025, bringing with her a wealth of experience from managing within co-ops, resorts, and hospitality businesses. At DGGC, Michele manages accounting operations with precision, transparency, and a deep commitment to detail. Her background in community-oriented business shines through in her thoughtful, people-first approach to financial stewardship. Michele believes Crested Butte is a true paradise and is proud to help make it a welcoming home for others who have also uncovered this gem of a location.
